Our Mission is to create quality homegrown and handcrafted wines and  share the joy of winemaking with our customer.

Our Business

After years of being a home winemaker, I teamed up with my friend and co-worker who had cultivated a vineyard, so that we could bring the art of winemaking to the public. 

Blue Slip Winery opened to the public on August 5, 2009. In doing so, we became Knoxville's first winery and Tennessee's first urban winery.

We feel Knoxville's Old City is a great location for both us and our product because it provides a storefront to a melting pot of people with fresh innovative ideas. Our customer is looking for something different, and we are certainly that.

Who We Are

We are Knoxvillian's who live, work and play in our great community.  Our focus is to provide great wines from locally grown grapes and fruit. We are excited about our wines and want to meet you and hear what you think.
